Description
- Designed to meet the requirements of the new ANSI Z359.16 standard, along with OSHA 1910.140 and 1926.502, when used with our Lad-Saf X3 Detachable Cable Sleeve (6160054) and Lad-Saf X2 Detachable Cable Sleeve (6160030)
- Reengineered to simplify and speed up the installation process
- Integrated fall arrest-rated anchor point on top bracket rated to 3,600 lbs provides 100% tie-off capability
- Galvanized steel bracket fits up to 1-1/8" (2.85 cm) rung diameter and attaches to two rungs
- Integrated tension-indicating bottom bracket takes the guesswork out of installation
- Compatible with Lad-Saf™ X3 Detachable Cable Sleeve for better climbing performance and fall protection (sold separately)
- Non-metallic Cable Guide hardware for easy-to-use hand operation, with mounting hardware for systems up to 199' (60.6 m), fits up to 1-1/8" (2.85 cm) rung diameter (recommended one every 25' / 7.6 m)

The 3M DBI-SALA Lad-Saf™ System is fully certified to ANSI Z359.16 and OSHA standards. While it does not carry a formal CSA stamp, it is widely trusted and permitted on Canadian job sites through two common pathways:
- Regional Acceptance: Provinces like Alberta and British Columbia explicitly accept ANSI-certified equipment as a legal alternative to CSA standards.
- Engineering Equivalency: In provinces with stricter CSA mandates (like Ontario), the system can be approved for use by a site engineer or safety officer, as its engineering meets or exceeds local safety performance requirements.
